Many function bands travel with minimal production, often bringing only their instruments and mixing desk, with limited lighting and basic sound systems.
As venue specialists, we can elevate your band’s performance with concert-quality sound and lighting.
Lighting Enhancement
We offer both a bespoke lighting design service and carefully curated packages tailored specifically for Buck Hall, designed for efficient installation within typical venue timelines.
Our signature option, shown here, is the “Pixel Tower – Eye Candy” package.
This features four custom towers fitted with LED pixel tape, creating a dynamic and visually striking backdrop with flowing colour effects, sweeps, and pulses that respond to the energy of the performance.
Integrated within the towers are:
Beam effects lighting
Audience lighting
Strobe effects for high-energy moments
All lighting is controlled via a professional lighting console, pre-programmed by Simon Horn to deliver concert-standard lighting design.
A dedicated lighting operator is provided to run the system live, ensuring the lighting evolves with the music, enhances each moment, and maintains the perfect atmosphere throughout the night.
Sound Enhancement
We use state-of-the-art Funktion-One sound systems, delivering true high-fidelity, crystal-clear audio.
Each system is carefully configured for the space, providing the power needed for a full dancefloor while remaining smooth, balanced, and never harsh.
Many bands simply do not carry systems of this calibre, either due to cost, logistics, or transport limitations.
When we are on site, we can seamlessly upgrade the band’s audio setup, ensuring the performance sounds as good as it looks.
All the band needs to do is plug directly into our system, allowing for a straightforward, professional, plug-and-play solution.

Staging
We can provide a 5m x 3m x 20cm stage to elevate a live band, improving both visibility and presence within the room.
Due to the proportions of the alcove, a stage does not completely fill the space and will slightly reduce the available performance area.
However, it remains an excellent option for giving a band greater impact and definition within the setup.
Uplighting
Uplighting plays an important role in enhancing the space.
It can be used in static colours to subtly highlight the architectural features and add additional ambient light around the dancefloor.
Alternatively, when included as part of our DJ or band lighting package, the uplighting becomes fully integrated into the overall lighting system controlled in real time by our lighting operator to create a fully immersive, dynamic atmosphere.
